Is there a website that has the rules for this class? I know it's not a CORR class and that some guys on this board run in it. Thanks.

This looks fun...<<<photos>>> (http://www.highrevphoto.com/gallery.php?gal=corr70806/enduro&offset=0)

Try this site out www.crandonoffroad.com If you navigate your way around the site I am sure you will be able to find the rules for this class.

Thanks, their link was not working for me but I figured the URL out: http://www.crandonoffroad.com/PDF/FORMULA4X4.pdf

Fairly simple rules...even affordable. Thanks again.

Rule highlights:
...2. SHOCKS: Shocks are 2" maximum diameter, 14" maximum travel, with no limit to quantity per wheel.
Also allowed on Formula 4X4 shocks:
A. 2 1 /2" diameter shocks may be used but, only one shock per wheel
B. Remote reservoir canister shocks are allowed
Not allowed on Formula 4X4 shocks:
A. Coil over shocks
B. External valving shocks
C. Bypass shocks
D. No grinding or modification of the shock body...

...12. BODY: The body must match the silhouette of a vehicle produced in quantities of at least 5,000 vehicles per year...

The Rusty Hammer is for sale. It took third at the brush run, we actually won enough cash to pay for gas, food and beer! Formula 4x4 is a really great entry level class.

Thanks to Retroblazer for bringing it to life.

I had to chime in here because of Mike of Philsinc.com pointed out that there will be close to FIVE GRAND added to the purse for Formula 4x4 at Labor Day. It's killing me to have the truck on the West Coast now, but my mission is not yet complete. I have some desert races to win. Primm and the 1000.

The top ones in the gallery are Formula 4x4. A few of the Canadian boys have travelled down and done very well in the class. Steve Martel from the Ottawa area won most of the Unadilla races. I like some of the rules...keeps some of the costs down.
