It appears that DeVilliers has won - VW!

This is from my husband this morning;
"in a race to the finish between the Mitsu's & VW's, Roma crashed badly and the sad news is that his co-driver has passed away"...

This is all I know so far. I'm sorry to post this horrible news. It is a fact however.
When I find out more details, I will post.

So sad about Magne. Apparently they hit a concrete wall during the second leg of today's Stage. Mitsubishi's press release indicates that they withdrew Peterhansel/Contret (leading the Rally) at the Finish out of respect for Magne.
