Just thought I would paraphrase (sp?) the class rules for the Jim Beam "Jerky" H3.

Minimum weight: 3508lbs. as measured, minus (safety equipment, 2 spare tires/ wheels, driver, navigator, luggage, tools, spare parts, navigation/ comunication equipment, and food)

Engine Requirements for 6999cc. engine: 37.2mm. restrictor (~.118" long minor diameter), maximum 10.5:1 compression ratio, intake manifold port volume including ports in head less than 22 litres, minimum of 3 litres of oil in system.

Chassis requirements: minimum thickness of tubing (only ferrous allowed) 1.5mm./ ~.060" with no specified diameter, must have shield behind driver/ navigator ~ the width of vehicle body, non active suspension, no driver adj. shocks, no connecting dampers, 1 swaybar per axle. swaybar couplers/ actuators allowed, no connecting front and rear swaybars, maximum wheel travel 9.84", maximum tire diameter 35", No inflation of tires while vehicle is moving, on board air tank smaller than 15L capacity.

In otherwords, not much like the class 1 car they started with!

Hope you enjoy...

Way off. his car is 2wd. Re-read the rules, and the additional changes noted by The FIA.

Easy there cowboy... j/k! I did re-read the rules, and it apears that the suspension travel limits ARE for 4wd. only, as there seems to be no reference to 2wd. vehicles in the suspension section.

Again, I am sorry for mis-representing the FIA rulebook

That was down right cordial for Fly. So FLY what happens to the bet if both RG & Mark DNF? We both write a check for $50?? And do you know the number of the Truck that RG rented space on?

Don't think the T-4 has the right parts or is long gone. The bet was that Robby would beat Mark by 12 hours. Doesn't look like that is going to happen. Robby and Darren are freezing their butts off I bet. Robby must be already dreaming of next year.

Yeah but, I'm giving you a "partial" out. Mark hasn't finished yet.

How about that? The race isn't over till it's over.
