I have aluminum rims and living by the beach really takes a toll on the way they look. I can polish them so that they look like chrome but after a couple weeks they are back to looking bad. I was wondering if there was anything I could put on them after I polish them to keep them from getting oxidized so quickly?
FYI: the Mothers Powerball works really good and I highly recomend it. It's well worth the $25

You could have them clear powder coated.

Have you used carnuba wax after polish? The only thing else is this stuff called Gibbs Penetrant. It works on mag wheels and on bare steel and aluminum. The hot rod guys and gun people swear by it. I want to use it on our new race car.

There is an alum sealant on the market, called zoop's protective seal. It has worked very well on the quad wheels ive used it on. Its quite expensive though, starting at 104.99, according to Jeg's. Thank God the shop payed for it......lol.

Zoop works good but you don't want any fingerprints on your part before applying it. It will lock them in forever. That and the $$$$ factor.
