You may download the TV shows for those that missed it on OLN as they only play it once in the middle of the day. Some induvidual is recording and sharing the Australian Version on the internet. It gets distributed as torrents as the files are rather large.
To learn how torrents work google it: CLICK HERE TO LEARN (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&rls=GGGL%2CGGGL%3A2005-09%2CGGGL%3Aen&q=how+does+torrent+work&btnG=Search)
TorrentBox.com (http://www.torrentbox.com/torrents-search.php?search=dakar&cat=0&submit=Search) is listing daily Dakar TV shows. They are in English and look 99% the same as OLN's shows.

Also a small disclaimer that this might be a copyright violation of the author and you might be breaking the law when downloading and sharing these shows....
We at rdc don't host them but simply let the world know where they are on the internet. We don't speed, we simply give you direction to the freeway.

I love it. :) Your way with words, not 'speeding'.

kind of off topic, I've set my DVR to record all 20 hours of OLN's coverage, the first 2 episodes recorded ok. Yesterdays(1/3/06) episode recorded but no audio, anyone else have this problem? I was just curious.
Thanks.

You don't have the right codec to play it, Get this to find out what codec it needs to play, then install the codec needed.

Easy 4mb downlaod of the best part of stage3 shown on TV.
http://rapidshare.de/files/10359618/robbygordondakar.WMV.html
select free download and deal with the roadblocks to get the file. If someone dares to host the file on a normal server do so and let us know please.

I talked to a friend in Germany and he confirmed that the daily TV shows are the same as our OLN and the australian SBS shows that can be found on the internet. The only different is the interviews and the end are geard towards the market the show airs.
So if you miss OLN since it runs when most people are at work you have a 2nd chance watching it online.
BTW Stage 5 can be downloaded now 13hours before you may see it on OLN (http://www.torrentbox.com/torrents-details.php?id=27016)

Evi if you actually live in Mexicali why dont you try the coverage in the local systems Cable or Ski they have way better schedules for us guys who have 8 to 5 pm jobs, for example todays show is stage 6 and is anounced to be aired at 7:00 pm is on Fox Sports Latin America Channel i think is Channel 6 on cable and in SKI i really dont know what channel is.
The hosts are 2 guys from Argentina and they are doing a good program in each of the stages they have shown at least one clip from Robby and Mark .
Hope this info is helpfull to any of us who is following the coverage of this year Dakar as we can .
For the rest of the other days schdules try the Fox sports web site on Yahoo Mexico Sports Section.
My 02 cents

I just watched stage7 on OLN as it just aired. THE OLN show had this funny dialog between driver and co-driver at the beginning, The Eurosport show has it at the end, but they had a section about the after stage prep of BMW plus more on the Russians in the cars and big trucks. Downloading the Austalian version, see what they have in addition to US and Europe.
Also the Euro version doesn't FCC foul language on TV.
So as the ultimate Dakar junkie you have to get all 3 versions.

I loved watching those guys fight in the cab. It's gotta be tough sitting next to someone for 2 weeks and hate how they drive.

The Rest day video or Day9 (not stage9) that floats around on the torrent has addl footage OLN DID not show today. It had a long section about Thierry the founder of the Dakar race.
Must download.

I just watched the Eurosport Stage9 Show. The Moto section is dedicated mostly to Andy. They also show another rider that crashed twice and how his teammates help him out and stick with him until help arrives.
