I am installing a PCI atennena/radio in my truck. What size hole do I need to drill on the roof for the coax/antenna mount? For some reason I remember it could be two different sizes or something. Also, do I need to take some paint off so it can ground, and if so which side on the top or bottom side of roof. Thanks guys,

The old style required a 3/4" hole. The newer version needs 3/8". Remove paint from the inside of the roof.

Place the antenna 18" - 24" away from any light bars, roof racks, sunroofs etc...

Cool. How old are we talking, I bought it about 6-8 months ago, There are two brass pieces. One (larger diameter) unthreads from the smaller diameter piece that is connected to the wire. I guess I can drill a 3/8 hole, and if it doesn't fit, go to the 3/4.
