I have been looking all over the internet for this info and haven't found it. Even asked a few GM sales reps without getting what I need. I need to find out what the LS1, LS2, LS6 and the ZZ572 weight. Anyone with a link or just know aprox. weights that would be great!
I do realize that the first 3 listed are aluminum and the 572 is iron.

Thanks in advance!

Ls1 weight is 430 pounds complete, aqd 65 pounds for the cast truck block on the 6.0L with aluminum heads. This came from the book about ls1 engines called "How to build High Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 V-8s"

A std big block weighs between 550-600 lbs. My 8.1 is right around 600.

Aluminum heads and intake will get a BB down to about 600 - 620 lbs
