Trying to locate an air filter for my 1600. Not the UMP filter setup. I have seen it on some of the fraley 1600 cars. Looks like it is a plastic housing. I imagine it is much lighter than the UMP aluminum housing. Any info would help. Thanks :)

I ran one of those filters for about two years in my 5/1600 and when it came time to replace it I looked high and low, but could not locate one. Those filters work great and the best thing about them is you can just blow them out and they work like new.

I've seen this setup on several 1/2-1600 cars before:

********* has the element, it fits right in an UMP mount and is alot lighter and has a 3" inlet. I know that alot of the Vegas guys run them and the two lothringer cars that I help out with have switched to them and seem to be awesome - - - - edit - - - for some reason it wont let me type the name of the parts house that sells it but the place is on Orangethorpe in Anaheim!!!
