Hopefully I'll be there with Uncle Bob and the crew I really want to make a SNORE race. Jamie do pit crews and chasers need pit passes like SCORE and BiTD stateside evnts?

Ryan, not sure on if the pit passes are needed - I'll find out for you - and yes you can chase/retrieve, but you have to get permission and a retrieval pass first....

Yeah Mike I know... CORR did issue SNORE an apology letter for putting their second race on top of ours, but still ... Hopefully some of the teams won't want to play smash-up derby and will come out to the 250 :D ... Also, the 10, 12 & 1600 desert cars have to run with the CORR cars and share the $$$, which really doesn't seem fair to me :( ... Only the TT's, 1's & 7 trucks run separate and get a separate purse ... I also need to talk to you about some stuff... Let me know when the best time is to get in touch with you please....

We were thinking of racing the corr race, but when the rules came out and we were to be racing heads up against the corr short course 1600s in our desert 1600 . The decision was made to race the gold coast desert race and go for a win and not to go to the short track and race for 10th. Joe my CO-driver also had a good point with 10,000 spectators watching he didn't want to look like loser trying to get out of the way of the short course cars in a desert car.so we will see you there in vegas

Got a call yesterday from Marty at Dirt Sports - they are sending an editor to cover the race also - Thank you Marty!... So, with the addition of Dirt Sports to the tv filming, the SNORE/Gold Coast 250 and the race teams are going to get a lot of coverage! Can't beat that.... :D

Jamie,
Are you still going to the drag races this weekend or coming to the lake?

Hi Uncle Bob! Yes, I will be at the drags Fri and Sat nite, probably get there around 7-8ish... I'll be at the Mickey Thompson/Cooper Tires semi (what a surprise lol) - can't miss me ;) ... I was thinking about going to the lake, but not sure yet... saw that you have a place out there - which side? Here's my cell # and if you head out to the drags, let me know 760-265-2400...

I'm also working on the payback for the 1450 class - because it's a new class to us, we're trying to come up with ideas on this so any feedback you have would be very appreciated... we want you guys to not be a "trophy class" and to have a structured tier like the pros, but not pay the pro entry fee... help! LOL... Actually, all of this is new to me - I've only been doing the desert racing thing for less than a year, but I'm a quick study :D

Hope to see you this weekend!
