The previously discussed Shield Savers are now available on the UPR website. We did some more testing, on and off road and think they'll be a great deal for off road racing.
We also have the Shoei racing shields available as well. We're planning to be at Primm if you want to check them out.

We also just made a deal on a bunch of Momo driving suits, these are real nice 2 layer SFI 5 suits that are only 399.00, on sale from 679.00.

Thanks for all of the great input!

I don't abuse the forum, the shield deal is a follow up. I check with John B before posting anything that may be looked at as commercial. His posted coment is that if we're an advertiser, it acceptable.
The suit deal is probably pushing it, but we're offering it to the Race Dezert guys first as a courtesy, we're not getting rich on them.

Harold we are always go a little easier on our supporters/advertisers like yourself(Parker Pumper longtime RDC supporter). As long as the message board is not turned into a swap meet we see it as part of the fee you pay for banner answering questions that might promote your company over another or offering RDC readers particular deals. If it gets out of hand we send a private message asking to tone it down a bit. We will delete obvious plugs from non supporters on our message board and commercial ads in our classifieds.

The Shield Savers were great!
I bought one package to try them out and you get 3 sets in one box. Very easy to put on. They will be a little hard to remove during the race so I folded the edge of one out so I could get ahold of it during the race to remove but didn't have to. Primm was very, very dusty and I kept using my glove to wipe the dust off of my shield and I think the Shield Savers are more scratch resistant than my shield is because I never tore the one off. I ran the whole race with out removing one shield saver and still had great vision with out any major scratchs. I will remove one for the next race and basicaly have a brand new shield. With the shield savers I would say that I will get a full year out of one shield and 1 set of savers, maybe not if it is muddy or I get some real bad rock hits but from dust alone the savers stood up very well, and it is way cheaper than buying a shield every other race!
Thanks Jeff for the new product! How about some that will fit on the GPS screen?

I'm not trying to advertise anything here, but we did use the shields at the Primm and were very impressed. We have been using roll offs on our motorcycles for years, and this idea is long overdue for our race helmets.
