As much as it pains us, the time has come to close the ROR. There are many factors that were taken into consideration in making the decision to close the gates. D-Day has been canceled, but may be rescheduled at another venue. Thanks to everyone who has supported the ROR. We have a lot of very happy memories out there and we hope a lot of you do, too. We have every intention of opening a new facility in the next year in an area where we might not have as many problems as we have had in Rialto. It would help us TREMENDOUSLY in securing a new facility if we could get some of you to email us a letter to jen@prerunners.com about some of the good experiences you've had at the ROR, why the facility was important to the offroad community, etc. We will be printing the letters and putting them together with our proposal for a new facility. Thank you again so much to everyone who has been a part of what we hope has been a really good chapter in offroad history.

RIP! I havent made it to an event there recently but I remember the first day I went there with Greg and Jen when there was NOTHING there but trees and bushes and we were trying to decide where to build the jump for the 2002 Jump Contest! Greg and Jen you guys did one hell of a job with that place you should be very proud. I cant wait to see what you have inmind!

Sadly never had the chance to be there in person but have seen lots of footage. Looked like a great time and fun people. I hope there is a bright future for you guys. I'd love to see an ROR event in person!

The decision was a bitter/sweet one. Kinda like getting rid of your first car, sad to se it go, but really happy with the nice, new model you just bought. We have a few places/venues in mind. The new track will be a desert style track with prerunners being first and foremost in the design, but the facility will offer better spectator viewing and certainly offer better dirt (no rocks) than we currently deal with. Im very excited about building a new track using what we've learned from the last 3 years. no word on where yet, but it will be operated at the lowest cost to everyone (racers, spectators, sponsors, etc) and offer the very most bang for the buck as we've always tried to provide. Thanks to everyone who has been there, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and vow to continue to grow with the sport.

I was kind of thinking the same thing, is their anything else that can be done to get _OR opened sooner?

Man...I just got through moving, haven't been online much for a couple weeks, and I read this...bummer. I was counting down til D-day...and now here I am back living in So. Cal and there's no more ROR.
I remember my first time out there, which was the first event there, jump champs 2002...after that I made it to as many events as I could coming from Santa Cruz...and at least I got to run my truck there ONE time!
Well I can't wait to see what's coming next from G&J!
