I built this calculator to be able to estimate (I am not claiming accuracy to the 16th of an inch) how your wheel base will change with different suspension configurations. I used it to figure out how much I needed to stretch my front cage, to account for longer arms.

I didn't have any prior experience with figuring out wheelbase. I asked around to people who had done it a bunch, and made this calculator to verify/compare those opinions. It may be eaiser to ask an expert, but this let's you play around with a bunch of different set-ups. I changed the colored fields such as length arms, amount to stretch cage, ride height angle (Mine is a little too much). This is the first revision, so feedback is more than welcome :)

Looks like a good start to me.

W/O having played with the math at all I'm thinking that your method for deducing the spindle pin height relative to the trailing arms may not always give accurate results. When the measurement LOA is near horizontal it should be close. What happens if the particular car has lift spindles and not a lot of droop? Am thinking maybe a measurement from spindle pin CL to lower link pin CL along the spindle or spindle carrier , then work with that relative to beam angle, ratio of beam tube CL dist. to Link Pin CL dist, and any ratio of trailing arm lengths that might exist?

Might be more complication than the desired accuracy needs.

Or I could be talking thru my shorts. :D
