What kind of horsepower difference are we talking between these two motors built to class 12 specs?

If I remember correctly, our FAT built 1835cc engine had about 140 hp. Its has been about 2 years since I have looked at the dyno sheet. I will try to dig it up to confirm this.

Thanks Adam

Does anyone know if the HP difference makes up for the weight gain? Class 12 seems to be a more level playing field than 1600 between single and 2 seaters.

Cory, you gotta figure another 200 +/- lbs. for a co-driver, another 25-50 lbs. for a seat, belts, a couple more feet of tubing, etc. etc. I would have to think another 15-30hp, depending on engine builder and parts used. Give Greg @ Fat a call and see what he says. Are you thinking of stepping up from the 9 bug? lol
