I have an 85 pickup with a 22r. I bought it recently and I noticed that the o2 sensor wires were clipped. I traced the route in which the wires should be and they are no where to be found. It looks like whoever put the new motor in, just pulled out the entire wiring from underneath the hood down to the exhaust. The Toyota dealership doesnt sell the one wire, 85 yotas are few and far between at junkyards, I looked through about 10-15 junkyards yeaterday and found nothing.
Is there any way I could hook up a generic o2 sensor to something, I have seen prerunners do something like this. If anyone in San Diego could help me out I would be more than willing to re-imburse them for thier time. I am getting extremely bad gas mileage and I need help asap.
