Pretty cool bronco ollie -- too bad it got smoked by a stock tacoma down portocitos road at the 1000 ;)... Looks good man where'd you get it painted at? What did it set you back?

thanks jon... i got it done at a place in anaheim called new image, cory susag recommended them, really nice people and a good job... it cost me $1000, that included some minor body work, filling some holes, painting the fiberglass serperate from the body, painting the door jams, painting the inside of the doors to match the interior color, hanging new doors and a new front window.
it is not perfect but the guys there were very honest with me and said it wouldn't be perfect, a little overspray here and there, but overall i think they did a hell of a job.

Nice, and not a bad deal either. I might have to take the "hooptee" Blazer their when I'm ready for paint. Again, sweet bronco PBR.

We just got our front fenders and bedsides painted by Steve. They came out very nice and he did them in 2 days! Thank you Ollie for the heads up on this guy.

the starburst is just from the light in the picture... if you weren't joking :)
the color is victory red, the same red as all the late model chevy trucks/suv's.

I would call but they are obviously closed, but where exactly are they located. I am looking into getting another body for testing purposes and need to have it painted, just don't really want to spend a ton of money like I will on the body now. Just for clerification, it will be a full skin 5 open body.

that's why i went with the chevy color... it couldn't be all ford!!!

Ollie, nice bronco. The paint looks great in the pics. Did you remove a lot of the hard ware (door handles, glass, etc.) before dropping it off for paint? I hope to paint my 1986 Ford Bronco within the next year or so and yours is a great inspiration. Thanks.

i didn't remove anything... it is a prerunner/chase truck so i just wanted something that looked good from a far, but it is far from good. for the price i am totally happy with the job that was done. for dezert trucks expensive paint jobs are kind of a waste if you ask me.

no different guy. the guy painting my eb now is cory susag formerly of s&s, they raced in class 7s (and won) for years in mini mac. i am supposed to pick up the eb this weekend if all goes well. cory is doing an awesome job on the eb, he has taken everything off and is shooting it all off the truck and it is turning out really sano. i will post up when i get her back.

the 3g alt worked out ok... i am also running the 351w. the stock mount i have didn't really fit the 3g like the guy said it would so it had to be modified but it is working great now. wiring was really straight forward and i can run all 5 of my piaa's and the amps stay at 14. there are some really cool aftermarket mounts but i decided to keep the stock one because it is also my coil mount.
don't buy it from that jacka$$ "fireguy", he has terrible communication and he just shouldn't be dealing with people in general.

I'm thinking in buying it from the fordfuelinjection website you posted a while back
Is that where you purchase the alt.?? & also if you don't mind posting some pics
of the mods you did to your mount that would really help me out. My prerunner is finish is in the paint shop for a quick job so is ready for the 1k. But i'm runnig alot of lights 7 hellas to be exact the stock alt. is not going to cut it. Any help you can
give will be really appreciated. :D
Thank you. :)

ford fuel injection is fireguy and he is a pain in the ***** if you have a problem and if you want the alt before the 1000 you won't be going to him, he is pretty slow. his prices are right but if you need to ask any questions like i did you will just be frustrated with his "customer service". i will take some pics this week for you. i want to see some pics of your rig when you get it back from paint.

Hey Ollie,
Can you tell me who's front and rear glass that is? Is that a 3" flare in the front?

I am in the process of building a class 3 bronco and decided to keep it coil bucket. It looks like you are running coils up front still. Did you keep the factory bucket or build something custom. If it is custom do you have any pics?

i have the autofab front end with their coil buckets. it works very well for it's simplicity. but if i were going class 3 i would go coilover for sure.
