anyone have any insight to a source for the adjustable tripod pipe stands that are popular for build projects? sample is pictured below.
any help or info will be appreciated.

I think they are called pipe stands, my buddy bought a few from the local welding supply shop for pipe fitting.

not bad, 60 bucks each! i think last time i looked into them they were 110 each!

I just bought some from Cameron welding supply (chain of like 5 stores). They are on sale for 80 bucks each till the end of the month. I think they have a website cameronwelding.com.
The ones I bought fold up like a tripod when not in use and will support 2,500 pounds each.

A quick way to make your own is to find old construction scaffolding and take the jack screws from the bottom. Weld up a tripod and use the old feet from the scaffolding. Works great! :)
