I I would like to recommend the idea all manufacturers of Off-road racing products putting serial numbers on any part they sell. This way when a set of shocks shows up on somebody’s disco truck you should be able to a least see if the number has been removed or altered. Also racing associations could do spot checks if they wanted. And the police may even have a chance of getting your stolen goods back to you.
I know this a simple idea but I think the people on RDC can work with this and make it even better.

Having Had Several Parts Stolen Off My Prerunner,this Sounds Like A Great Idea. At This Time I Have Already Engraved My Name And Cell # On My Shocks And Welded The Nuts In Place, Maybe This Will Slow The Punks Down. I Have Had My Air Flow Meter With K&n Filter Stolen,ecu And All The Bolts For My Shocks Were Found Loose Twice.serial #s Would Be Very Easy
To Install During The Building Of The Shock Bodies. I Hope Somebody From King Or Fox Reads This.
