i like that, you think it would work on pizza????
i had a miller spectrum 350. worked good for up to about 1/4" if you didnt mind doing some grinding. wasnt a big monster either so moving it around wasnt a big pain.

hypertherm 380 has been great to me - cuts like butter through 1/8 and 3/16 (goes a lil bigger but i havent tried it) and works on 110 or 220. not to mention the consumables I hear are less expensive than most others...all that for around a 1000 shipped on ebay.

My spectrum 375 (on 220) is great for 1/4 max, it's small and convienient.Very happy with it, consumables are cheap. For the big stuff and cnc I use a Hypertherm powermax 850, plenty of power, consumables slightly more. Esab machines are great though, I'd look into those for a smaller plasma. They have a great torch design.

I have to agree with JK....I love my hypertherm 380....portable yet powerful and works on 110 or 220 with the flip of a switch......if you need more capacity, hypertherm has a bitchin' 625 model that rated at 5/8" clean cut and can sever 1"

i have a hypertherm Max 43, cuts 1/4 no problem. havent tried anything bigger. its a pretty small machine, so it doesnt take up much space. consumables arent expensive at all either.

Just won an auction on ebay for a thermal dynamics 38 plasma. Got it for only $910 new-what a steal. Its got 30 amps of power and will cut thru anything I will ever need building my racetruck.
