Internet purchasing scam!

In the last year I have recieved about 20 e-mails trying to purchase something I had for sale from another country. Its the same thing each time.... they say that they have a person in the US that owes them more money than the product that I have for sale.... so they want me to give them my mailing information.... and they want me to send them the excess through western union. What the heck is up with this scam? How are these guys making a profit?

They are sending fake money orders and getting people to give them checks or money orders for the difference to pay the shipper. By the time you realize you have been hosed they already have cashed your real money order. Check out the othe posts in the Lookout Section on this topic
