I need to find out if anyone knows what size electric fan in cu.ft. you should use on a 3.0 v6 toyota 4 runner, or if there is some easy way to figure it out. Fish what did you run on the piece when it had the 3.slow Thank for any info.

According to "Spal Fans"...the best way to determine correct size is to pick a fan with the most coverage for your radiator, basically make sure it covers the most surface area...and then go with the highest cfm rating for that size of fan...now when choosing your cfm rating, don't forget that most of the time, the higher the cfm rating..the higher the amperage draw for that motor...just make sure you take into account all of the other accesories on your truck, i.e...lights, stereo, race radio....for a Toyota, I would be comfortable with around a 15A draw, which should be around 1500-2000 cfm, depending on the manufacturer...I prefer Spal, they're quiet and bulletproof. You can call Matsens Radiator in Stanton....he's a Spal dealer...
