I like it a lot, kind of a cross between the Krawler T/A and Baja T/A. Should be a great Barstow tire.. Good luck finding 22" beadlocks and the sidewall would be a little small. Wonder if they will make them for the smaller wheels.

it will look good on SUV's with Big rims...
Not even close to the Mud that exists now! If I had an H2 on 24s id slap those on!

Designed to fit a 22-inch wheel, the Mud-Terrain T/AŽKMconcept tire (size: LT335/55R22) addresses the growing trend of larger wheel diameters, both in the original equipment and the replacement tire markets, and features an aggressive, performance-oriented tread pattern that resonates with the tire marketplace.

a quote from i believe another rdc member "jesse at TLT" from another site-
We also just got back from SEMA and I talked with Jeff Cummins for a while about these new MT tires- He's been pretty heavily involved with the product development and testing. They just got back from pre-running the Baja 1000 with a set of these tires (37x12.5x17") and he said that they hands-down outperform the existing MT tires at high-speeds on and off-road. That was a big surprise, but a great thing for those of us with DD trucks. He also told me that regardless of the tread-pattern redesign (it's still not finalized), the new MT tires will be available in a full range of popular sizes and that we can expect comparable tread-life (40,000+).

I sure hope the new MT handles better on the street than the regular Krawler. The Krawler sucks on the street no matter how you groove it. The BFG Mud Terrain was aggressive enough for off-road use but stable enough (and round) to work well on the street. If you haven't driven a set of Krawlers on the street you are in for a hell of a disappointment. I have only run BFG's since the early 1990's (wife's Subaru being the one exception) but lately I think other manufacturers have produced tires that are worth a try.

Here's the BFG "Rambo" tire from RG's 89 F-150. Quality's not the best being it's a photo of a poster I have in my office at work. The two tires do have some similarities.
