SPEED-OFF ROAD (CORR Track)
Engine Chevy 350 400 HP and 425 Torque at around 5500.
Engine Red Line at 6500.
I used to use TH-350 and TH-700 for a while in 1997. At that I did not have lots of knowledge about AUTOMATIC Trans, and decided to use manual since then.

<font color="red"> Questions : </font>
1. Has anyone use TH Automatic for this kind of Racing ?
2. Who should I talked to regarding asking and buying performance parts for this ?
3. Has anyone use a FULL MANUAL KIT, REVERSE (P-R-N-1-2-3-D) pattern Valve Body with this transmission ?
4. Is this transmission GOOD ENOUGH for this kind of CORR Racing ?

a turbo 400 will easily withstand your hp and rpm demands. almost all the top CORR trucks use this transmission wether they are ford or chevy powered. we run standard pattern manual valve bodies, when i asked why i was simply told they hold up a lot longer than a reverse pattern. ATD(automatic transmission design) builds my trannies and many of the trannies for the other top CORR teams. find them on the web and they can set you up with a trans and convertor that will work for this application.

OK, you make a good point using the TH-400.

However, the reason I am asking is because we have plenty of TH-350 and TH-700 lying around not being used. So I would like to know whether we can use all of these trans.

Has anyone ever use "REVERSE FULL MANUAL VALVE BODY, with ENGINE COMPRESSION BRAKE" VALVE BODY.

Anyone can tell me more about this ???
